Join us for a special Improv Workshop for Adults & Improv Performance! The workshop Dec. 14 will run from 7:30pm-9:00pm with performance beginning at 9pm. The performance at 9pm is open to ages High School and above and admission is $5 at the door.
Learn the basics of comedic long-form improvisation; the very same fundamentals that help launch the careers of today's top comics like Tina Fey, Will Ferrell and Key and Peele. This class will cover: overcoming inhibitions; listening; agreement; working as an ensemble; full use of the body; as well as starting to find characters.
Instructor: Mikael Johnson; multiple award winning improv performer, including Washington Improv Theater's FIST tournament (2011 & 2013), and a regular player at the Dojo Comedy Theater, Chinese Menu Comedy, Last Ham Standing and Comedy Sportz.
