Our second Adult Workshop for beginner to intermediate Improvisers! Join us at Fairfax's Hard Times Cafe for a comedic long-form improv class!
Learn the basics of comedic long-form improvisation; the very same fundamentals that help launch the careers of today's top comics like Tina Fey, Will Ferrell and Key and Peele. This class will cover: overcoming inhibitions; listening; agreement; working as an ensemble; full use of the body; as well as starting to find characters.
Instructor: Mikael Johnson; currently an improv comedian located in the DC area; Mikael has over 15 years of performance experience with improvisation and can be seen locally with the award-winning 2-man show ShawnMikael(s).
Details: Held in restaurant of the Hard Times Cafe in Fairfax City. Registration is open to adults 18+ and includes one drink ticket.
