Instructor: Adam Ressa
Sets come in all shapes and sizes. Some are incredibly expensive and elaborate, and others are very sparse and minimal. All good scenic designs have one thing in common: they serve the story.
In this fun, engaging class we will learn about different types of sets, different styles, and the history of scenic design. We will discuss specific design choices and how a good set can help inspire directing, motivate the performers, and facilitate an amazing experience for the audience. At the end of the course each student/camper will present a scenic design concept.
